Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), a statutory authority of Indian Railways, has invited bids for leasing out a 5,532 Sqm land parcel at Renigunta, in Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh. The proposed land parcel near Renigunta Junction Railway Station will be leased out for 45 years. The reserve price of the land is INR 6.77 crores for a proposed built-up area of 7502 Sqm.
The site is located alongside Chennai - Anantapur Highway (NH-716) which connects with Tirupati Airport Road and Kanigiri Tirupati Road (NH-565) thus making it accessible from different parts of the city. The land parcel is strategically located near the Renigunta Railway Station, which serves devotees travelling to the Tirupati Temple. Renigunta is a major junction station with branch lines to Arakkonam Junction and Katpadi Junction via Tirupati Main.
Renigunta is a major railway junction connecting towards Tirupati/Arakkonam & Katpadi; Kadapa/Guntakal and Gudur/Vijayawada, thereby handling passenger traffic from diverse directions.
The parcel is bordered by Hotel KR Bhavan to the north, Kaccha Road and the Road Construction Building to the east, the Tirupati Airport Road to the south, and National Highway 716 to the west.
