Schneider Electric launches EcoStruxure Asset Connect and Asset Advisor

Schneider Electric, the global leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, today announced the launch of EcoStruxure Asset Connect and EcoStruxure Asset Advisor- an integrated platform designed to deliver predictive analytics to secure electrical distribution through monitoring of critical connected products. EcoStruxure Asset Connect by Schneider Electric is a first of its kind wireless sensor that connects critical parameters like bus bar temperature, ambient temperature & humidity in electrical distribution system, while Ecostruxure Asset Advisor gives highly accurate and actionable insights to increase reliability & equipment life. It proactively addresses issues inside electrical distribution equipment to mitigate the risk of electrical failure. EcoStruxure Asset Connect installs sensors (thermal, environmental) into an electrical equipment, through which plants and industries are able to capture data and monitor the health of the equipment. It reduces periodic checking and maintenance costs and protects investment by maximising the lifespan of an equipment. This approach combines a best-of-breed technological platform, EcoStruxure Asset Advisor that offers the ability to anticipate and address issues before they become critical incidents, mitigating safety risks, avoiding unplanned downtime, operational losses and expensive maintenance interventions. Schneider’s dedicated service advisors are engaged in continuous asset-specific monitoring with EcoStruxure. This monitoring is useful for providing periodic reports with optimisation recommendations. Its user friendly interface allows online monitoring of critical equipment and single view of multiple sites, including historical data, trends, and patterns.
