In a noteworthy development in real estate industry, Amitava Bhattacharya joined as Chief Business Officer at Shrachi Group. Former chief revenue officer at HT Media Group and Ex Vice president at Bennetth, Coleman & Co. Ltd. Amitava Bhattacharya have had a four-decade remarkable journey in the industry.

In HT Media group he headed Revenue extraction for Print and Digital businesses from Eastern India. Worked with Brand Owners, Advertising Agencies, State Governments and Public Sector Undertakings, especially in the challenging Covid 19 ecosystem.
In Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group), Kolkata, he was responsible for the front end of the business comprising Advertising Sales, Brand Activations, IT Augmented Solutions to advertisers, Customer Service, People Development, Improving Operational Efficiencies and Content Aggregation. He headed up a team of over 150 people across the above functions and responsible for revenue turnover of 200 Cr.
Throughout his journey he was also associated with Essel Group, Zee Media Corporation Limited and India Today.
