CapitaLand Investment Limited’s (CLI) wholly-owned lodging business unit, The Ascott Limited (Ascott) announced the appointment of Arpit Pant as Director – Business Development for the Indian Subcontinent. Arpit brings a wealth of expertise of over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, working with Hotels and Luxury Residences for leading business operations, asset management, business development, organisational setup, and regional roles across markets. Prior to joining the Ascott International Management team, India, he was associated with some leading companies including Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Preferred Hotels & Resorts.
In this key leadership role, Arpit will spearhead Ascott India’s strategic initiatives to expand presence in the dynamic Indian hospitality sector and enhance its portfolio of varied offerings. His vision and impeccable leadership will be instrumental in the growth plan of Ascott in India, while also identifying new business opportunities, nurturing partnerships and driving revenue growth. Onboarding Arpit in the leadership team will further strengthen the company’s commitment to India’s business in addition to the recent appointment of Anand Rai as Assistant Director- Business Development.
Additionally, Arpit Pant will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive business development strategies, working alongside the executive team and supervising their effort to drive innovation, elevate customer experience and ensuring sustainable growth.
