Ramacivil India has announced the successful completion of Yashoda Medicity, a sprawling new healthcare landmark in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. Spread over 1.2 million square feet, the facility is one of North India’s largest and most advanced multi-specialty green hospitals, setting a new standard for sustainable, technology-driven healthcare.
The hospital was inaugurated by the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, in the presence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Anupriya Patel, marking a significant milestone in the state’s growing healthcare infrastructure.
As the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) partner, Ramacivil India played a pivotal role in shaping the project’s design, functionality, and sustainability. The company integrated advanced engineering systems with green technologies to create a hospital that is both energy-efficient and patient-centric. From modular ICUs and operation theatres to specialized departments for oncology, robotic surgery, and critical care, every aspect has been designed to meet global healthcare standards.
A New Era of Green and Digital Healthcare
Yashoda Medicity has been envisioned as a next-generation green hospital, registered for LEED certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. The 1,200-bed facility houses over 65 medical specialties, 252 modular ICUs, and 22 modular operation theatres. It also includes 10 advanced endoscopy suites and a state-of-the-art Emergency and Trauma Command System, integrating MRI, CT, and heart and stroke units with CATH and DSA labs for rapid, coordinated emergency response.
This combination of scale, sustainability, and digital sophistication makes Yashoda Medicity not just a hospital but a prototype for future healthcare design in India.
Speaking about the project, Vibhuti Gupta, Partner at Ramacivil India, said, “Completing Yashoda Medicity has been a matter of great pride for us. This project is not just a healthcare facility, it’s a landmark of engineering precision, sustainability, and compassionate design. Our goal was to deliver an institution that reflects the future of healthcare in India, and we’re proud to have achieved that vision in partnership with the Yashoda Group.”
She added that having the facility inaugurated by the President of India and attended by key national leaders was a moment of collective pride for everyone at Ramacivil India.
A Catalyst for Regional Growth and Employment
Beyond its architectural and technological excellence, Yashoda Medicity also brings tangible economic benefits to the region. The project, valued at Rs. 430 crore, has generated employment for over 5,000 healthcare professionals, engineers, technicians, and support staff. During construction, the project created large-scale opportunities for skilled workers and professionals, aligning with Uttar Pradesh’s mission to boost investment-led growth in health infrastructure.
Ramacivil India ensured that construction adhered to green building and LEED-compliant norms, reducing carbon footprint and energy consumption. This focus on sustainability reinforces the company’s commitment to building facilities that align with India’s long-term goals of being green, digital, and self-reliant.
With this achievement, Ramacivil India further strengthens its position as one of India’s foremost EPC players in the healthcare domain—known for projects that merge engineering excellence with environmental consciousness.
Leadership Voices on Innovation and Humanity
At the inauguration, President Droupadi Murmu praised Yashoda Medicity for exemplifying the integration of innovation with empathy. “When a community is healthy, its potential is boundless. Yashoda Medicity reflects a vision where advanced care meets empathy—bringing the promise of wellness closer to the people,” she said.
She emphasized that healthcare institutions must remain grounded in compassion even as they adopt cutting-edge technologies. “Innovation must always walk hand-in-hand with humanity. Our hospitals must be places where technology and compassion coexist in harmony,” she added.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh echoed this sentiment, underlining the connection between public health and national strength. “The true strength of any nation lies in the health and happiness of its people. Our doctors, nurses, and hospitals are the guardians of that strength. A facility like Yashoda Medicity doesn’t just heal individuals—it fortifies the nation,” he said.
He also applauded the Yashoda Group for investing in research, medical training, and the creation of one of North India’s most advanced medical campuses.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath described Yashoda Medicity as “Uttar Pradesh’s vision of global healthcare, made local.” He highlighted how the project aligns with the state’s focus on expanding healthcare access while maintaining international standards of quality and innovation. “Our government is determined to make Uttar Pradesh a model for world-class medical care. The establishment of Yashoda Medicity embodies this mission—global standards, Indian values, and local accessibility,” he said.
He reiterated the government’s ongoing support for healthcare advancement through better infrastructure, workforce training, and affordability initiatives.
Engineering the Future of Healthcare
For Ramacivil India, Yashoda Medicity stands as a powerful statement of what modern engineering can achieve in the service of public good. The company has successfully delivered a project that meets the dual demands of medical sophistication and environmental responsibility.
With its combination of smart design, sustainable operations, and community impact, Yashoda Medicity demonstrates that the future of healthcare in India will depend on collaboration between technology, architecture, and empathy. It represents not only a physical structure but a living ecosystem where innovation and care intersect—paving the way for a healthier tomorrow.
