RMZ, a family-owned alternative asset owner, has joined the inaugural Rugby Premier League (RPL) by owning Delhi Redz, the franchise representing the capital city in the league. This strategic investment reflects RMZ’s vision to engage with transformative assets that contribute to India's evolving sporting and cultural ecosystem, stemming from the belief that sport can unite, uplift, and ignite a new generation.
The Rugby Premier League (RPL), set to debut in June 2025, aims to position Rugby as a mainstream sport in India, fostering talent and expanding the game’s footprint nationwide. The Delhi Redz aims to be a dominant force in the league, attracting top-tier talent and fostering grassroots development in the sport.
The team will be led by Head Coach Tomasi Cama, a seasoned international Rugby professional with extensive experience in elite tournaments, supported by Assistant Coach, Arun Dagar. The squad will feature a competitive lineup of leading Indian and international Rugby players.
