ULI Set To Launch Its First Product Council In India

Urban Land Institute (ULI), a global non-profit organisation and the oldest and largest network of global cross-disciplinary real estate and land use experts, is set to commence its second year of operations in India.

Speaking on ULI's plans for India, Manasvini Hariharan, Executive Director, ULI India said, “In its inaugural year, ULI's India National Council has garnered significant acclaim from eminent stakeholders in the country's built environment. This success underscores our shared commitment to shaping the future of Indian cities collaboratively, transcending competitive boundaries. As we embark on the second year of our operations in India, we are poised for sustained engagement from the industry's foremost leaders. With the forthcoming launches of new product councils and programs, we are determined to bring ULI’s global standard of thought leadership and research to India, while showcasing India’s remarkable built environment to the international ULI audience.”

Launched in January 2023, ULI India has completed its maiden year in India, wherein it has created a robust community of nearly 150 members including institutional investors, real estate developers, architects, urban planners, and land use policymakers from India. ULI’s mission is to foster collaborative solutions for the most pressing urban development challenges of today. It distinguishes itself from other organisations by going beyond traditional real estate development to address broader social and environmental issues, with a focus on sustainable and inclusive human settlements.

ULI's global reach and network provides its Indian members an opportunity to connect with its worldwide network. Additionally, Knowledge Finder - ULI’s knowledge-sharing platform, offers an extensive online database of global best practices and content to empower Indian professionals to address India's unique urban challenges with globally-proven strategies.
