CBRE South Asia Pvt. Ltd announced the election of Anshuman Magazine, Chairman & CEO, India, South East Asia, Middle East & Africa, CBRE, as the Chairman of CII Northern Region for the financial year 2022-23. Anshuman served as the deputy chairman of CII Northern Region for financial year 2021-22.
Over the years, Anshuman has consistently aided CII’s policy of partnership and cooperation with all relevant stakeholders, particularly with the Government, to enhance efficiency, competitiveness and business opportunities for industry. As part of his new role, he will head CII’s operations across 7 States – Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and 3 Union Territories - Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh.
“Our aim is to promote digital economy & fintech, technology-enabled development, energy transition, and climate action. CII Northern Region aims to abet the government to attain its vision of complementing the macroeconomic level growth focussed on an all-inclusive welfare,” said Anshuman Magazine.
With a focus of strengthening the organization’s commitment towards sectoral development, Anshuman has identified 8 priority areas for the Northern Region that include Policy Advocacy, ease & cost of doing business, competitiveness of MSMEs, facilitating investments, strengthening physical, social infrastructure, entrepreneurship, startups & skill developments, environment sustainability, and water.
