Havells Insignia presents ADEX Talk Series on August 19, 2021 presented the globally acclaimed architect Manit Ratogi, Founder Partner Morphogenesis Speaking on the topic of “Reflections of Technology in Design”, he explained that technology is not only about advanced products and systems but more rightly it is the application of scientific knowledge for the betterment of the humanity. Sharing his projects briefs in his presentation, architect Rastogi gave examples of combining architectural design, technology application for analysis and stimulations to arrive at the best resource efficiencies in the building as well as integration of local craftsmanship to make the buildings contextual to their location. Vivek Yadav, Senior Vice President, Havells India Limited in conversation with architect shared how as solution providers they aim to work with the architects and developers to create awareness about the new technologies available for energy efficiency and sustainability as well as understanding the needs of the design community to develop more products in sync with the new requirements. They both agreed that with the pandemic, the built spaces are becoming multi-functional and de-densification in commercial spaces is the trend.
