VEDASHREE P RAVISHANKAR, Principal Associate, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas& Co. Vedashree P Ravishankar has carved out her space as a trusted legal powerhouse. She spearheads the firm’s real estate practice, offering pan-India legal advice on land acquisition, leasing, joint development, and compliance, while mentoring teams and refining processes. Her journey began at J Sagar Associates in 2015, evolved through independent practice, and hit new heights when she helped establish SAM’s real estate vertical in Bengaluru. Deeply committed to impact, she provides pro-bono legal aid to NGOs, mentors young talent, and drives conversations around gender equity in law. Her novel “Mission Hindustan” highlights women’s rights in ancient India, and she’s currently working on a project to file a PIL focused on women’s legal rights under the Hindu Marriage Act.
