New order bookings include large order of Rs. 25,455 Crs for the 9000 HP locomotives. For the second quarter of Financial Year 2023 ended March 31, 2023, Siemens Limited registered revenue from continuing operations at Rs. 4,401 crores, a 28.8% increase over the same quarter in the preceding year. Profit after Tax from continuing operations was at Rs. 516 crores, an increase of 61.9% over the same period last year.
The company also booked new orders of Rs. 31,151 crores in Q2 FY 2023, which included an order of Rs. 25,455 crores for the 9000 HP locomotive project. Consequently, new orders in Q2 FY 2023 grew by 8.1% on a comparable basis.
