WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP: DRIVING CHANGE ACROSS SECTORS

Ritu Sharma leads enablement of Boeing’s global operations for India. Her role is extremely dynamic, centered around managing capital investments and operating costs to the tune of $450M to deliver productivity through people, process and technology enhancements. She leads the Sustainability strategy for Boeing for 100+ sites, across 30 countries championing the cause for conserving water / waste / energy and overall greenhouse gas reductions. But her professional journey has not been easy, sometimes despite having all the credentials, been passed over for promotion. According to her “Comfort” and “Growth” are diametrically opposed forces and one must be resilient and constantly look for a path forward.
