EverEnviro Inaugurates India’s Largest C&D Material Recycling Facility

EverEnviro Resource Management Pvt Ltd, India's leading environment and sustainable services company inaugurated India’s largest Construction and Demolition (C&D) material recycling plant in Burari, Delhi. This landmark processing plant custom custom-designed and powered by state-of-the-art technology has the capacity to process 2000 tonnes per day (TPD) of Delhi’s C&D waste production.

Spanned across 7 acres of land this landmark facility promises to be a game-changer in addressing the mounting waste challenges faced by the region. In the north Delhi area alone, approximately 5100 metric tonnes (MT) of construction debris are generated daily, emphasizing the pressing need for an innovative waste management solution. EverEnviro's advanced facility will efficiently collect and transport the construction debris to be meticulously processed, subsequently transforming the reclaimed materials into high-quality recycled aggregates, bricks, pavers and tiles, augmenting circularity in the construction sector. The use of such value-added materials will reduce the demand for natural resources, mitigating the environmental impact associated with their extraction and processing.

EverEnviro is the only company in India with the capacity to process over 5150 TPD of C&D materials, positioning it as an undisputed leader in the C&D material management industry.

On the inauguration of the new plant, MD and CEO of EverEnviro, Mahesh Girdhar said, “The integration of this new facility into our existing C&D plants throughout Delhi will facilitate the recovery and processing of more than 80% of the daily construction debris generated in the Delhi region. This underscores our dedication to positively impacting the environment by delivering state-of-the-art technology and sustainable waste management solutions."

He further stated, "We are honoured to partner with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi in the shared mission to mitigate pollution stemming from construction waste within the city. Our combined efforts will lead to the adoption of circular economy principles within the construction sector, promoting circularity throughout the project lifecycle, from design to demolition and beyond."

Delhi’s air quality has been seeking strong measures to curb pollution and greenhouse gas emissions generated by the high presence of particulate matter, resulting from the construction debris strewn around the city. This plant will contribute largely to the reduction of such pollution, providing respite to the city dwellers from chronic respiratory diseases and other health issues.

The new recycling plant is set up in a PPP between EverEnviro and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. The project is the latest addition to EverEnviro’s series of recycling facilities across the country, set up in line with the company’s vision to contribute towards the 12th global sustainability development goal of responsible production and consumption of resources. Additionally, it advances the government’s 'waste to wealth' mission thereby contributing to a more sustainable and environmentally responsible construction sector.
