Hyderabad-based startup Freyr Energy, one of India's fastest-growing solar companies, proudly announces the launch of its Solar Experience Centre for the first time in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, on October 23rd. The solar experience center will allow customers to interact with every component of a solar system, such as the latest technology panels and other essential solar system components like inverters, ACDB and DCDB boxes, earthing cables, AC/DC cables, lightning arresters and galvanized iron structures for modules.
This omnichannel approach complements the Freyr Energy App, where customers can get an instant quote, immediate loan approvals and track installation and system performance in real-time. It will help them understand what separates a great solar system - that will maximize savings, from a regular system. By providing an interactive, transparent, and accessible platform, Freyr Energy seeks to drive informed decision-making and accelerate the adoption of solar energy.
The initiative aligns with the government’s PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, supporting the solar vision and sustainability goals of India by encouraging both residential and commercial solar adoption in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Through the establishment of these centres, Freyr Energy aims to unlock the untapped potential of solar energy in smaller cities and rural areas, creating several employment opportunities as part of its expansion. "We are addressing the growing demand for sustainable energy where solar adoption is set to increase significantly. By bringing high-quality, large-scale solar panels and systems closer to customers, we are paving the way for greater adoption of rooftop solar on India’s road to Net-Zero.
