Goldmedal Electricals launches a new mascot

Goldmedal Electricals is a leading home-grown fast moving electrical goods (FMEG) company that has innovative products & solutions across categories such as wires & cables, switches, home automation and entertainment & LED lighting. The company has seen robust growth in FY’18-19, growing at a CAGR of more than 40% YoY and is currently worth INR 1,400 crore. Goldmedal is a made in India company that manufactures nearly every electrical product that is part of a modern home or office, at its three manufacturing units in the country. Goldmedal Electricals has also launched a new mascot called ‘The Wireman’ for the company’s wires and cables segment. ‘The Wireman’ symbolises strength, reliability and safety which are important features of Goldmedal’s products. ‘The Wireman’, as the name suggests, represents Goldmedal’s products in the wires & cables segment while his superhero look represents Goldmedal’s promise of superior safety features and performance. Commenting on the launch of Goldmedal’s new mascot, Kishan Jain, Director, Goldmedal Electricals said, “We are excited to launch our mascot ‘The Wireman’ which truly represents what our brand stands for – strength, reliability and safety. Also, we fully support the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative and have set up several state-of-the-art manufacturing units across the country.” Goldmedal has a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit at Bhiwadi, near Delhi, that produces high quality wires and cables. Goldmedal wires are made with environment-protection in mind, especially the Zero Halogen Low Smoke (ZHLS) wires and the Heat Resistant Fire Resistant Lead Free (HRFRLR) wires. Along with safety, Goldmedal wires are the exemplars of efficiency. The wires are designed to serve domestic and industrial purposes in the best possible manner regardless of the conditions.
