JSA acted as the sole and lead counsel to Grasim Industries Limited’s Birla Paints Division before the Competition Commission of India (CCI) and successfully secured a Section 26(1) investigation order against Asian Paints Limited. The order, issued on July 1, 2025, directs the Director General to initiate a formal investigation into alleged abuse of dominance by Asian Paints in the decorative paints market.
