NBCC & CII MoU to Establish Skill Training Institute & Career Centre

NBCC (India) Limited and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a Multi-Skill Training Institute & Model Career Centre in Delhi.

The MoU was formalised in the presence of NBCC's Chairman and Managing Director, Functional Directors, and senior officials from both organisations. This partnership aims to bridge the skill gap and improve employability by providing aspiring professionals with industry-relevant training and career guidance.

NBCC, a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, plays a vital role in infrastructure development. Its core areas of operation include Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), and Real Estate Development.

CII, established in 1895, is a premier industry body with a strong national and international presence. It operates 70 offices across India, including 12 Centres of Excellence. The organisation plays a pivotal role in policy advocacy, fostering innovation, and building skills across sectors through its extensive industry networks.

The collaboration is expected to leverage NBCC's expertise in infrastructure and CII's experience in skill development to create a meaningful impact on India's human capital. The centre will provide multi-skill training aligned with industry needs and act as a model hub for career counselling and job placement support.
