Goodwill Developers Sponsors Goodwill Cup Organised By Burhani Sports

Leading Navi-Mumbai based builder, Goodwill Developers were the official sponsors of the Goodwill Cup, organized by Burhani Sports. The fourth edition of this annual tournament was played in a T10 format across 52 matches from January 21st to January 26th, 2020. The finals of the Goodwill Cup, was attended by Jonty Rhodes, former International cricketer and current South African cricket commentator. The event was also graced by His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS.
The tournament saw an overwhelming participation across eighteen different teams namely Mumbai, Marol, Surat, Chennai, Dahod, Nasik, Godhra, Pune, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kenya, Singapore, Kuwait, Sri Lanka, England, and Tanzania. The finals took place between 4pm and 9pm at Wankhede Stadium on 26th January, 2020.
Kuwait Challengers won the tournament by two runs against Chennai Chargers here at the Wankhede Stadium.
Talking about the league, Hakim Lakdawala, Group Promoter, Goodwill Developers said, “It gives us great honour and pleasure to be a part of this community league. Activities such as the Goodwill Cricket League are organised not only to bring the community together but also create awareness about the importance of physical activity and its benefits in one’s life.
