Advance India Projects Ltd (AIPL), one of North India’s leading real estate developers, has announced the completion of its full and final External Development Charges (EDC) payment of ₹137 crore to the Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA), Government of Punjab. This is among the highest EDC payments made by any developer in Ludhiana, underscoring AIPL’s commitment to statutory compliance and responsible urban development.
Hemant Gupta, Executive Director of AIPL DreamCity, Ludhiana, said, “The full payment of EDC to GLADA further underlines AIPL’s commitment to supporting Punjab’s urban infrastructure development while adhering to the highest standards of compliance. We have paid one of the highest EDCs in the whole of Punjab.”
AIPL expects a significant portion of these funds to be deployed towards strengthening infrastructure in and around DreamCity’s catchment area, where capacity constraints currently exist. Improved connectivity, services, and urban efficiency will be critical to supporting the township’s growth.
Spread across 500+ acres, AIPL DreamCity, Ludhiana is designed as a sustainable, integrated township offering premium residential plots (200–2000 sq. yards), luxury villas, and independent floors. The development emphasizes modern infrastructure, green spaces, and community‑oriented amenities. Key highlights include a 7.4‑acre lake, a lifestyle clubhouse—AIPL Club Aqua—with fitness, dining, and recreational facilities, and a planned 20‑acre commercial district catering to retail and office needs.
Strategically located with twin access from Sidhwan Canal Road and Ferozepur Road, DreamCity enjoys seamless connectivity to major parts of Ludhiana. With sustainability at its core, the township aims to deliver long‑term environmental responsibility, efficient infrastructure, and enhanced quality of life for residents.
