Embassy REIT Appoints Prabhakar Kalavacherla as Independent Director

Embassy Office Parks REIT (NSE: EMBASSY / BSE: 542602), India’s first listed REIT and Asia’s largest office REIT by area, announced the appointment of Prabhakar Kalavacherla as an Independent Director to the Board of its Manager for a five‑year term.

Mr. Kalavacherla brings over 35 years of global expertise in audit, risk management, financial reporting, and governance. He is notably the first Indian professional to have served on the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), where he contributed to shaping key global accounting standards including IFRS 15, as well as frameworks for financial instruments, leases, and consolidation.

During his career at KPMG, he held senior global leadership roles, overseeing audit quality, risk, and independence frameworks across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
