Interarch Building Solutions Limited (BSE: 544232 | NSE: INTERARCH), a leader in pre-engineered steel buildings (PEB), has announced a Rs70 crore investment to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Kheda, Gujarat. Spanning 12 acres, the plant will add 40,000 MT of installed capacity in its first phase and generate over 400 direct and indirect jobs, reinforcing Gujarat’s role as a national manufacturing hub.
Strategically located near key ports and the industrial corridors of West and Central India, the facility will support both domestic and export demand. It features advanced automation, high floor load capacity, wide internal roads, and ESG-compliant systems including rainwater harvesting, treated wastewater reuse, and solar-powered infrastructure.
Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Manish Garg, CEO of Interarch Building Solutions Limited, said, “The groundbreaking of our Gujarat facility is a significant milestone for Interarch. Gujarat, with its world-class infrastructure and strong clusters in semiconductors, EVs, and allied industries, offers the perfect ecosystem for our growth. With this expansion, we will not only complete our pan-India footprint but also enhance our capacity by 40,000 MT, enabling us to serve both domestic and international demand more effectively. This investment reinforces our commitment to building the future in steel and contributing to India’s economic strength.”
Interarch is currently executing major projects across Gujarat, including India’s first semiconductor chip manufacturing unit in Sanand, a tyre facility in Bhuj, a solar energy plant in Jamnagar, and complex industrial setups in Bharuch. Past clients include Adani, Aditya Birla, Reliance Energy, BKT Tyre, Asian Paints, and MG Motors.
With this expansion, Interarch aims to reach a turnover of Rs2,400 crore by FY28, driven by rising demand in renewables, EVs, semiconductors, data centres, and modular steel construction. The Kheda facility marks a decisive step in scaling operations and reaffirming the company’s leadership in India’s industrial infrastructure landscape.
