Acclaimed actress Kajol Devgan has leased out a premium retail unit in Goregaon West, Mumbai, for a total rental value of Rs.8.6 crore over a nine-year tenure. The deal, registered in November 2025, highlights the growing appeal of Goregaon West as a commercial and residential hotspot.
Located in Bharat Arize, the property spans 1,817 sq. ft. of carpet area and includes one car parking space. Registration documents reviewed by Square Yards confirm a monthly rent of Rs.6.9 lakh for the first three years, escalating to Rs.7.9 lakh and Rs.9.13 lakh in successive three-year periods. The agreement also includes a security deposit of Rs.27.61 lakh, with stamp duty and registration charges amounting to Rs.5.91 lakh.
Kajol purchased the unit earlier in March 2025 for Rs.28.78 crore, underscoring her investment in Mumbai’s dynamic real estate market. Goregaon West, with its strong connectivity via Western Express Highway, Link Road, SV Road, suburban rail, and expanding metro routes, has emerged as a sought-after hub for both professionals and businesses. Its proximity to Andheri, Malad, and Oshiwara District Centre further fuels demand for retail and office spaces.
