As competition intensifies across India’s residential real estate market, developers are increasingly reshaping leadership teams to support expansion and execution across high-growth cities.
Mantra Group has announced a key leadership restructuring, elevating Rohit Gupta as Managing Director and appointing Saransh Dey as Chief Executive Officer for the Mumbai region.
The appointments come as the developer looks to strengthen its presence across Pune and Mumbai, two of western India’s most competitive housing markets.
Rohit Gupta, who has been associated with Mantra Group for several years, has played a central role in the company’s expansion and operational growth. In his new role as Managing Director, he will oversee the company’s broader strategic direction and operational strengthening across markets.
Speaking on the development, Gupta said the company would continue focusing on project quality, customer trust, and long-term growth. He added that Mantra Group’s existing foundation and team strength would remain central to its future plans.
Meanwhile, Saransh Dey will lead the company’s Mumbai operations, with responsibilities spanning business growth, execution, and customer engagement in the city.
Commenting on his appointment, Dey described Mumbai as a critical market for the company and said the focus would remain on timely project delivery, quality standards, and regional expansion.
The leadership changes reflect a broader trend across the real estate sector, where developers are increasingly appointing market-focused leadership teams as housing demand strengthens in key urban centres. Mumbai, in particular, continues to attract heightened developer attention amid rising premium housing demand and infrastructure-led growth across metropolitan corridors.
For Mantra Group, the latest appointments signal an effort to sharpen regional execution while scaling operations in western India’s evolving property market.
