Nikhil Nanda Buys Rs28-Crore Sea-Facing Apartment in Juhu’s Maestro Project

Nikhil Nanda, chairman and managing director of Escorts Kubota Ltd and son-in-law of Amitabh Bachchan, has purchased a luxury apartment in Juhu’s Maestro project for Rs28.39 crore, according to property registration data accessed by Liases Foras.

The transaction was executed by Nitasha Nanda, his sister and Power of Attorney holder, and registered on October 16, 2025. The unit spans 3,139 sq. ft., with an additional 411 sq. ft. terrace, and includes three car parking spaces. The stamp duty paid was Rs1.70 crore, and the seller is K Raheja Corp Real Estate Pvt. Ltd.

Maestro, located at the iconic BR House site in Juhu, is a limited-edition luxury development by K Raheja Corp Homes. The project offers panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and Juhu Aerodrome, and is designed for top industrialists, media executives, and Bollywood families. The site was acquired from the family of filmmaker B R Chopra in 2022 for Rs182.75 crore, and the project is slated for completion by end-2026.

With a total saleable area of 1 lakh sq. ft., Maestro celebrates cinematic heritage while delivering ultra-luxury living. Nanda’s purchase adds to a growing list of high-profile acquisitions in Mumbai’s coastal luxury belt, including recent investments by Amitabh Bachchan in Alibaug.
