Mumbai’s skyline just got a new landmark—not a tower, but a rooftop racquet destination. Phoenix Palladium, in partnership with PadelPark India, has unveiled the Phoenix HSBC Racquet Club (PHRC), India’s largest integrated rooftop racquet facility. Spread across 12 courts, the club combines six Spanish-designed Padel courts and six Pickleball courts, all built to global tournament standards.
What makes PHRC unique is not just the scale, but the way it reimagines sport as part of everyday urban life. Perched atop Phoenix Palladium in Lower Parel, the club offers panoramic city views while solving a practical problem court availability in South Bombay. For players, it’s a professional-grade arena; for the city, it’s a lifestyle-first destination where sport, fashion, and community converge.
The brand ecosystem here is unlike anything seen before. HSBC anchors the club as title sponsor, while Lacoste extends its racquet sports legacy. Superdry Sport debuts in a high-performance setting, Tira introduces beauty-led padel activations, Victoria’s Secret unveils Mumbai’s first pink pickleball court, and Fast&Up supports hydration. Together, these partnerships transform PHRC into a cultural hub where sport becomes a canvas for fashion, wellness, and experiential engagement.
Being located within Phoenix Palladium adds another layer. The mall already blends luxury retail, dining, and entertainment, and now sport joins the mix. Residents and visitors can play on world-class courts, pause for coffee at the club, or head downstairs to Gourmet Village, which hosts over 25 restaurants. With St. Regis next door, the club benefits from a luxury hospitality advantage, making it a social epicentre as much as a sporting one.
Mr. Amit Dabriwala, Director of Bellona Hospitality, explained: “Phoenix Racquet Club brings together world-class infrastructure, thoughtful design, and a lifestyle-led approach to sport. By placing premium courts atop Phoenix Palladium, we’re addressing the long-standing challenge of court accessibility while creating a destination that encourages people to play, pause, and connect.”
Echoing this, Nikhil Sachdev, Co-Founder of PadelPark India, added: “Phoenix HSBC Racquet Club marks an important first step in our vision of padel evolving into a true lifestyle sport in India. By integrating world-class courts into the Phoenix Palladium ecosystem, we’re taking the game beyond standalone venues and into everyday urban life.”
With leagues, tournaments, and expert coaching planned through the Indian Padel Tour and Indian Padel Academy, PHRC is set to become more than just a rooftop club—it’s a benchmark for how sport can belong in the rhythm of city life.
