Trilegal has advised Mahindra Logistics on its Rs 749.27 crore rights issue, marking a significant transaction under SEBI’s updated rights-issue framework.
The legal advisory team was led by Bhakta Patnaik (Partner) and Albin Thomas (Partner), supported by Sowmya Khandelwal (Senior Associate), and Associates Janhavi Shah and Snehal Kaushal.
Mahindra Logistics, a tech-enabled integrated logistics and mobility solutions provider under the Mahindra Group, will utilise the proceeds for loan repayment and general corporate purposes.
This transaction stands out as one of the largest rights issues in India’s logistics sector in recent years and among the first major issuances completed under SEBI’s revised framework, which aims to streamline and expedite capital-raising processes.
