TVS ILP Invests Rs250 Cr in Vizag Grade-A Logistics Park

TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks expands its national footprint with a ?250 crore investment in Visakhapatnam, delivering ESG-compliant infrastructure and job creation.

TVS ILP Invests Rs250 Cr in Vizag Grade-A Logistics Park

TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP), India’s pioneering corporate developer in industrial infrastructure, has announced a Rs250 crore investment to develop a Grade-A industrial and logistics park on 17 acres in Visakhapatnam. This marks a strategic expansion in South India, reinforcing TVS ILP’s pan-India network of high-performance industrial hubs.

The park is strategically located just 21 km from Vizag Airport, 28 km from Vizag Railway Station, and 32 km from Vizag Port, with direct access to the Chennai–Kolkata Highway. Land allocation and approvals were facilitated by the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd. (APIIC). Phase-wise development is underway, with 4 lakh sq. ft. of ready-to-move space already available.

Key features include 12-metre clear height, LED lighting, solar-powered streetlights with daylight sensors, advanced fire-fighting systems, wide internal roads, high floor load capacity, dual flushing systems, and low-flow water fixtures. Sustainability is central to the design, with rainwater harvesting, 100% reuse of treated wastewater, and renewable energy integration making the park ESG-compliant and future-ready.

Once fully operational, the built-to-suit (BTS) facility is expected to generate over 1,000 jobs, contributing significantly to the regional economy.

“Visakhapatnam’s strategic location along the Bay of Bengal makes it a natural hub for warehousing and logistics. With one of India’s busiest ports, it serves as a gateway for trade with Southeast Asia and beyond. TVS ILP’s park is designed to leverage this connectivity and cater to high-growth sectors such as pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, 3PLs, automobiles, electronics, and seafood processing. Through this development, we aim to accelerate industrial growth, enable trade, and create employment opportunities across South India,” said Aditi Kumar, Joint Managing Director, TVS ILP.

With infrastructure upgrades like the upcoming Bogapuram International Airport and enhanced connectivity along the Chennai–Kolkata corridor, Visakhapatnam is emerging as one of India’s fastest-growing economic hubs. TVS ILP’s world-class facility is poised to support this transformation and reinforce its leadership in the warehousing and logistics sector.
