BirlaNu, part of CKA Birla Group, has reported net consolidated loss after tax of Rs24.71 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2025. It had registered net loss after tax of Rs11 lakh in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing.
The company's net consolidated total income stood at Rs939.85 crore in Q4 FY25, a growth of 8.93 per cent from Rs862.78 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year.
Akshat Seth, managing director and CEO of the company said, "The transition to OBS technology in our uPVC pipes aligns with our commitment to reducing environmental impact while delivering the highest quality to our customers."
The board also appointed N. Sesha Srinivas as the chief human resource officer (CHRO) with effect from May 17, 2025, in the category of senior management personnel (SMP) as Surbhi Bist Puri ceases to be the CHRO and SMP of the company.
It also appointed Y Srinivasa Rao as chief business officer - Walls and Rajesh Rajan as chief Information officer (CIO).
BirlaNu Pipes has recorded a five-year CAGR of 35% in volume. It has introduced Organic Based Stabilizers (OBS) in its uPVC pipes and has also announced a greenfield OPVC facility in Patna, the company said in a media release.
