AIPL Joy Central, Sector 65, has added a new cultural gem to its dining mix with the launch of Thamel, an elevated café inspired by the vibrant streets of Kathmandu. Located on the ground floor, the café brings Nepal’s café culture, authentic flavours, and warm hospitality to Gurugram, creating a lively yet comforting space for food lovers.
Thamel’s menu highlights include the OG Nepali momo served with signature dips, alongside Italian classics like Napoli pizza and artisan pasta, gourmet burgers, and Himalayan-inspired dishes. Guests can also enjoy specialty coffees, ceremonial matcha, refreshing beverages, wines, and craft beers, making it ideal for both relaxed evenings and lively catch-ups.
The project was brought to life with creative direction from CYK Hospitality, interiors by Sneha Bhandari blending modern minimalism with rustic Nepali warmth, and architectural execution by Anuj Jain. Ishaan Singh, Director, AIPL, said, “Thamel perfectly complements our vision of curating experiences beyond retail. It adds a refreshing cultural flavour to Joy Central and will become a favourite spot for those seeking vibrant yet comforting dining.”
Designed as a warm escape in the city, Thamel offers the perfect setting to meet friends, work over coffee, or unwind with wine. Its soulful ambiance and curated offerings enhance AIPL Joy Central’s reputation as a lifestyle destination where retail, dining, and community experiences converge.
With popular names like Indus Flavour, Atmanam, Bellavino, Cellar & Cup, Café De Flora, and Irish House already part of Joy Central’s culinary lineup, Thamel stands out as a unique addition, bringing authentic Nepali charm to Gurugram’s dining scene.
