UNDERSTAND  CONSUMER  PSYCHE
My role includes strategizing marketing activities, online & offline across various verticals of the company in India & some verticals for the USA arm of the company. I am also deeply involved in the creative process, various marketing events for the company, some of which have been mega scale events and leading designing and execution of our stalls at property exhibitions across India along with Dubai & Singapore. Over and above the normal marketing avenues, I’ve had ad films created for our brand. I’ve been responsible for our PR activities as well as our consumer connect activities. NOVEL STRATEGIES & PRODUCTS My marketing strategy is entirely in line with the overall business strategy of the company. In fact, it is a reverse engineered to be that way. Begin with the end in mind is how I like to go about it. The idea is to connect with our audience and communicate with them in a language they understand. Selection of the right forms of media for the right campaign is what I ensure and there can be no exception to this. The essence of our communication is that we understand what clients need and their future aspirations. This might sound very simplistic but I prefer to keep our communication simple. ALONG WITH THE IDEATION TIME & INFORMING TEAM OF THE DYNAMIC AND EVER CHANGING REQUIREMENTS OF THE MARKETS, BEING INVOLVED IN EXCHANGING OF IDEAS ON THE LATEST TRENDS IS A TOP PRIORITY AND SOMETHING I TAKE VERY SERIOUSLY AND ENSURE ON A REGULAR BASIS. MOST SUCCESSFUL MARKETING CAMPAIGNS I don’t think there is any such thing as the most successful campaign. We are constantly learning and drawing from our past experiences. We continuously research and monitor trends on a daily basis and spend a great amount of time to understand consumer psyche. On an average, we have more than 500 campaigns that we put out in a year with varying objectives and results. It is hard to choose one over the other. SOCIAL INITIATIVE I ensure having once a week sessions with start-ups related to mental health and Physical fitness and guiding them about their marketing strategy. One particular initiative I am proud to be associated with is Iamhappiness which is dealing with mental health & wellbeing.
