Brigade Real Estate Accelerator Program (REAP) hands over its 1st batch

Brigade REAP, India’s  startup accelerator program with a focus on the real estate industry had its Demo Day or “Handover Day”, marking the completion of its first batch,  at the World Trade Center, Bangalore on 28^th February 2017. Brigade REAP launched in October 2016 with over 125 startups applying for the program. After two rounds of intense jury selection, 5 startups were shortlisted and inducted into the program. The startups have been through a rigorous four month mentorship and training program and are now ready to be “handed over” to the real estate Industry for consumption of their products and services. The startups graduating from Brigade REAP made  presentations on  their business to the audience that included eminent developers from the Real Estate Industry, Investors, HNI’s, other start up founders  and top management of global corporates. Speaking on this occasion, Ms. Nirupa Shankar, Director, Brigade REAP said ‘It has been an interesting experience for Brigade as we have been able to incorporate at least 3 innovative solutions by the startups into our business.  The mentorship and guidance given by REAP has helped the startups tweak their business model and create a value proposition to address pain points of the industry, thereby  demonstrating clear and tangible benefits to the builder community.’
