Alexa Smart Properties for Senior Living means residents can stay in touch with their loved ones outside the property thanks to Alexa-to-Alexa calling. Family members can use video calling to get in touch and bring peace of mind to all parties. The product also aids property managers in tailoring resident experiences and supporting engagement within their properties by displaying activities, menus, and reminders with Echo Show.

For care staff, the product means they can broadcast announcements and make voice and video calls to other Alexa-enabled devices throughout the property and communicate with residents with greater efficiency and reach. Further, the residents gain greater independence with smart home features like lighting, blinds, or thermostats so residents can control their in-room environment with their own voice.

Right now, Alexa Smart Properties for Senior Living is integrated in Majesticare’s Cavendish Park Care Home (United Kingdom) with Ascom Software. It is also available at Morris Care Isle Court, an award-winning, innovative care home, to residents of The Royal Airforce Association’s Rothbury House and Blind Veterans UK’s respite care centre in North Wales. It is also available in several properties of the Korian Group in France and is coming soon to Italy and Germany.
