After a house-hunting spree spanning many months, Hollywood power couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have finally closed on a Los Angeles home for about ?$61 million.
Located in Wallingford Estates, a gated community in the Beverly Hills post-office area, the roughly 5-acre estate has about 38,000 square feet of living space. The estate includes 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a 12-car garage and a pool, plus a sports complex with basketball and pickleball facilities, a gym and a boxing ring, the listing shows.
The house boasts a cinema, wine room, whiskey lounge and a spa with a hair and nail salon, and a sauna and massage room. And get this, there's also a separate, 5,000-square-foot sports facility, which includes an indoor pickleball court, boxing ring and sports lounge. On top of that, there's a 2-bedroom guard house.
The property was first listed for $135 million in 2018 and had its price cut to $74.995 million in March. Records show the seller is a company tied to developer Gala Asher. Brett Lawyer of Carolwood Estates represented the buyer.
Ben and Jen paid $60,850,000 and they paid in cash. The whole deal took one week, start to finish. Affleck sold his Pacific Palisades home for $28.5 million last year, records show. Lopez is listing her Bel-Air home for $39.995 million.
