Thailand-based Dusit International Set to Opens First Hotel in France

Thailand-based Dusit International has joined forces with SYDEL, a prominent French real estate investment firm, to launch Dusit France — a new joint venture focused on developing world-class hospitality experiences across France. The collaboration combines SYDEL’s deep local expertise with Dusit’s refined approach to service, wellness, and cultural resonance.

The venture will introduce Dusit's portfolio of eight distinct brands, ranging from affordable lifestyle hotels to wellness-focused luxury retreats.

The partnership will focus on securing strategic locations, supporting asset repositioning, and launching innovative hotel concepts that prioritize guest well-being and sustainable value creation.

Speaking at the signing ceremony in Paris, COO Gilles Cretallaz expressed excitement over Dusit’s entry into France, describing it as a landmark moment in the company's international trajectory:

“Our unique blend of cultural authenticity, innovation, and gracious service will resonate strongly with travellers and developers alike.”

With 294 properties across 18 countries, including a strong presence in Asia and a boutique footprint in Europe, Dusit is now poised to capture the French market — one of the world’s most influential tourism hubs — with thoughtfully curated hospitality experiences.
