Khushru Jijina Managing Director, Piramal Finance

Khushru Jijina is the Managing Director of Piramal Finance (earlier known as Piramal Fund Management) and leads the family office for all proprietary investments. Khushru was a key founding member of Piramal Finance in 2006, before getting re-inducted in September 2012. Khushru is a Chartered Accountant by qualification and he started his career with Rallis, a TATA Group company, where he was a part of their corporate finance division for a span of 12 years. He joined the Piramal Group in 2001 as the Vice President-Treasury and had been instrumental in securing debt at the lowest cost for the group, setting new benchmarks in the debt market. Khushru has been with the Piramal Group for over 14 years and has handled several key positions including Managing Director of Piramal Realty, Executive Director of Piramal Sunteck Realty, etc. His rich experience of over two decades in the fields of Real Estate, Corporate Finance and Treasury Management has helped Piramal Finance receive several accolades. Khushru spearheaded the group’s foray into real estate development. Piramal Realty has rapidly built a pipeline of over 20 million sq. ft. in Mumbai and aspires to build high quality living and work spaces through customer centric design and strong execution. Prior to this, Khushru as the Executive Director in Piramal Sunteck Realty, handled a portfolio of projects spanning Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Nagpur, Jaipur and Oman and oversaw all aspects of their execution.
