“Passion and profession should be same, if one feels passionate towards the profession he/she will be satisfied with it and as well as excel in it” quotes Ms. Manju Yagnik, Vice Chairperson of Nahar Group.  This childhood belief, which she holds till date has taken her to the enviable position that she holds now – being the undisputed leader in the male-dominated real estate industry in India! A dynamic lady who has truly broken all pre-conceived notions about the industry, she has radically changed the face of how real estate is perceived and marketed in India. Through her pioneering marketing approach and strategic initiatives, she has induced a paradigm shift in the industry. After her graduation in 1987, Yagnik joined Nahar Group. It was by holding every opportunity and rising to every challenge that enhanced her knowledge in the real estate industry. Coupled with her positive "can do" attitude, determination and learning skills, the way for her successful journey was paved. Whether it was working for hours at the construction sites, negotiating deftly with a host of vendors, marketing adeptly with customers or applying innovative and imaginative approaches in creating the Nahar Brand, Yagniksoon established herself as a true leader across several disciplines. It is the Group’s prestigious township project, Nahar’s Amrit Shakti, which brought her on to the international platform. Yagnik, being a strategic thinker, positioned Nahar’s Amrit Shakti as a classy residential complex that fulfills the housing requirements of the discerning customers, especially amongst non-resident Indians who prefer to make their homes amidst lush green environments while enjoying the luxurious facilities and amenities in Mumbai. Her visits to UAE, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Singapore, London and other countries around the world and her persuasive marketing and presentation skills resulted in a sharp increase in sales amongst these international customers. Her passion is creating unique land spaces, coming up with unique initiatives for consumers and understanding consumer behavior. By nature she is a person who loves challenges and follows a futuristic approach in life. For Yagnik, it’s essential to create a healthy lifestyle and not just build houses. She want to offer a holistic lifestyle where one really doesn’t have to step out of the township for any need. Education institutes, medical center, supermarket, business center, gym and Yoga center, club house, garden and play areas for kids, such facilities are necessary to ensure that every resident -- irrespective of the age group -- lives a healthy life. Besides her extremely busy schedule, Yagnik also takes keen professional and personal interest in the social, educational, sports and cultural activities. She has been a state level hockey player and has played and won various trophies for her state. She is passionate about rifle shooting and owns a flying license as well. Manju Yagnik loves to travel to undiscovered places of the world and believes in living the life and adopting the cultures and customs of the place.She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends. Yagnik believes that the first step towards inspiring excellence is to build an energetic workplace, which encourages everyone to express their views and opinions openly. She is an observant person. By monitoring the market trends she get to understand the requirements that help her devise strategies and plans to provide not only what the end-user expects but also to offer more than their expectations. Today’s buyer is globally well-travelled, well-aware and has a certain set parameters. When she taps these parameters and strive to go an extra mile to exceed their expectation, she finds herself excelling. She believes,leaders are expected to walk the talk and exhibit personal excellence before expecting it from others. She feels people should make a career out of something they love. Because when they are doing something with passion, it interests them to the core and they give it their best. Manju Yagnik is recognized as an industry icon for her thought leadership. She is a member of various internationally renowned bodies such as Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), Confederation of Real Estate Developer's Associations of India (CREDAI), Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI). She has won many awards and accolades such as Most admired Business Leader by White Page International,  Women Super Achiever In Real Estate, Business Woman of the Year and Female Real Estate Professional’ of the year etc.
