Client Associates, a multi-family office and private wealth management firm, has appointed Ritwick Ghoshal as Managing Partner – Growth & Strategy and Pulkit Vashishth as Director – Risk Advisory & Continuity Practice, strengthening its leadership across key advisory businesses.
Ghoshal brings more than three decades of experience in private banking, wealth management, investment advisory and business strategy, with extensive exposure to Indian and international markets. Before joining Client Associates, he served as Executive Director – International Business & Family Office at Centrum Wealth, where he also held the position of Chief Investment Officer. His career includes senior leadership roles at Bay Capital, Barclays, Edelweiss, Avendus Capital, HSBC, Citibank, ANZ Grindlays and JM Morgan Stanley.
In his new role, Ghoshal will oversee three key practices: Fixed Income Advisory & Treasury Solutions, Risk Advisory & Continuity Practice, and Lending Solutions. He will work closely with Himanshu Kohli, Co-founder of Client Associates, to develop these businesses and advance the firm's broader strategic priorities.
As part of the leadership structure, Amar Koradia, Director & Head – Fixed Income, will lead the Fixed Income Advisory & Treasury Solutions practice, while Vashishth will head the Risk Advisory & Continuity Practice. Both will work closely with Ghoshal to expand the firm's specialist advisory capabilities.
Vashishth has more than 20 years of experience across bancassurance, insurance for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and business promoters, keyman insurance, succession structures and estate planning. He has worked with organisations including SBI Life, IndusInd Bank, Zee Learn, Essar Steel and Centrum Insurance Brokers.
Based in Mumbai, Vashishth will work with Ghoshal and the wider team to develop the firm's risk advisory and continuity services, with a focus on wealth protection, risk mitigation and long-term succession planning.
Commenting on the appointments, Himanshu Kohli, Co-founder of Client Associates, said, “Building a legacy wealth management institution requires a clear understanding of where the business needs to go and the leadership required to get there. As Client Associates enters its next phase of growth, we remain focused on making deliberate investments in people who bring sound judgement, a long-term perspective and the ability to navigate complexity. Ritwick and Pulkit bring complementary strengths that will be important as we continue to evolve our business and the way we serve families.”
Ghoshal said India's wealth management industry was at an important stage of development, with growing private wealth creating opportunities for advisory firms to expand their services and strengthen their long-term approach.
“The wealth management industry in India is at an interesting stage of development. As the scale and sophistication of private wealth grow, there is an opportunity to build advisory institutions that combine entrepreneurial thinking with the discipline and perspective required for the long term. Client Associates has built its business around an understanding of family wealth that goes beyond individual financial decisions. I look forward to working with the team to shape the firm's next phase of growth,” he said.
The appointments come as Client Associates looks to strengthen its specialist advisory services for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, with an emphasis on helping clients manage, protect and preserve wealth across generations.
