EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) has launched its first office in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore. The new office is located at the KCT Tech Park, a prominent technology hub in the region. This move highlights the company's commitment to leveraging Tamil Nadu's growing talent pool and vibrant culture of innovation.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Dr Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, Minister for IT and Digital Services, Government of Tamil Nadu, and Manesh Patel, Global Operations Leader at EY GDS.
Coimbatore's educational environment, strong engineering talent, and a culture of entrepreneurship and technical innovation make it an optimal location for EY GDS's expansion. The new office will focus on consulting services, emphasising technology and innovation while providing opportunities for growth in other areas like tax and assurance.
Establishing the Coimbatore office aligns with EY GDS's strategy to broaden its talent pool, enhance global technology capabilities, and foster transformation. It is poised to become an integral part of an expanding, cohesive network of service delivery hubs that offer inventive, scalable, and tailored business solutions to EY member firms. It aims to deliver technology-driven, human-centric solutions efficiently and at scale, thus promoting business growth for EY and EY clients. The centre will focus on AI, data analytics, cloud services, cybersecurity, digital and quality engineering, ERP, and financial services platforms.
