Prepared by the Patwari and attested by the Revenue Officer, Jamabandi is updated every five years. One copy, called Nakal, is kept at the District Record Room, while the other remains with the Patwari. Under Section 44 of the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887, the Jamabandi carries a presumption of truth.

  • Karam: Basic unit (~5.5 feet)
  • Sarsahi: Square Karam (~30.25 sq. ft)
