Home Centre has launched its festive campaign, ‘Decked For Diwali’, inviting consumers to refresh their homes for the festival with décor, furnishings, kitchenware and hosting essentials. The campaign features a Diwali collection of more than 1,000 products, alongside experiential events and a food-focused initiative, ‘The Social Kitchen’, featuring celebrity chef Ranveer Brar.
The campaign aims to bring together festive home styling, entertaining and hospitality, encouraging consumers to prepare their homes for family gatherings and celebrations. The collection is available at Home Centre stores and on its website, homecentre.com, with prices starting at ₹199.
As part of the campaign, Brar and Jayanti Ganguly, CEO of Home Centre India, participated in ‘The Great India Gourmet Table’ on October 10 at the brand’s Sky City Mall store in Borivali, Mumbai. The event brought together food, festive inspiration and ideas for hosting guests at home.
The brand has planned two further events in the National Capital Region. The next event is scheduled for October 17 at DLF Mall of India in Noida, followed by another on October 31 at Pacific Mall, Khayala, Delhi.
Diwali collection spans décor, furnishings and dining
At the centre of ‘Decked For Diwali’ is a collection designed to help consumers personalise their homes for the festive season. The range covers home décor, soft furnishings, kitchen essentials, serveware, crockery, gifts and furniture.
Among the highlights is Garnet, a collection built around rich wine tones, brushed gold accents and refined neutrals. The range draws on a royal aesthetic, offering a festive approach to luxury through colour, texture and detailing.
The Inara and Moksha collections present contrasting design directions, giving consumers options to experiment with different colour palettes and decorative styles. Together, the collections are intended to cater to different preferences, from understated festive interiors to more expressive settings.
The wider assortment includes products for different stages of festive preparation, from decorating living spaces and refreshing soft furnishings to arranging dining tables and preparing for guests. With more than 1,000 products across categories, the brand is positioning the collection as a single destination for festive home shopping.
Speaking about the campaign, Jayanti Ganguly, CEO of Home Centre India, said Diwali celebrations are closely connected to the home and the people who gather there. She noted that consumers often refresh their favourite corners, arrange dining spaces and make small changes to create a welcoming environment for family and friends.
Ganguly said the idea behind ‘Decked For Diwali’ was to encourage consumers to celebrate their homes and express their individual styles while making festive preparations easier. She added that the breadth of the collection was intended to provide options across décor, furnishings, cooking, serving and hosting.
‘The Social Kitchen’ focuses on festive hosting
Alongside the home décor campaign, Home Centre has introduced ‘The Social Kitchen’, featuring celebrity chef Ranveer Brar. While ‘Decked For Diwali’ focuses on preparing the entire home for the festival, ‘The Social Kitchen’ centres on cooking, dining and the role of food in bringing people together.
The initiative addresses a familiar challenge during Indian festivals: hosts often spend much of their time preparing meals, organising the kitchen and serving guests, leaving them with limited time to enjoy the celebration themselves.
Through content, practical tips and festive inspiration, the campaign seeks to make cooking and entertaining more manageable. It highlights the importance of an organised kitchen, functional serving essentials and a dining setup that allows hosts to participate more fully in gatherings.
The initiative also reflects the changing role of kitchens and dining areas in contemporary homes. These spaces increasingly serve as places for social interaction, with meal preparation and serving forming part of the overall hosting experience.
Brar said the kitchen remains central to festive gatherings, but the effort involved in preparing and serving food can sometimes prevent hosts from enjoying time with their guests. He said the ‘The Social Kitchen’ range is designed to make the process, from preparation and cooking to hosting and storage, more organised and convenient.
Connecting home styling with the joy of celebration
With ‘Decked For Diwali’ and ‘The Social Kitchen’, Home Centre is bringing home décor and festive entertaining together under a broader seasonal campaign. The initiatives combine product offerings with chef-led content and in-store experiences to engage consumers preparing for Diwali.
The campaign places emphasis on both the appearance and functionality of a festive home, covering everything from decorative accents and furnishings to kitchen organisation and serving solutions.
By offering products across multiple home categories at prices starting at ₹199, Home Centre aims to cater to a wide range of consumers and celebration styles. The campaign's retail availability and scheduled events are intended to bring festive inspiration closer to shoppers as they prepare their homes for the season.
