In April 2025, brothers Abhishek Lodha and Abhinandan Lodha formally resolved all outstanding disagreements concerning brand usage. Under the settlement, the Abhishek Lodha-led Macrotech Developers retains exclusive rights to the brand names 'Lodha' and 'Lodha Group', while Abhinandan Lodha holds the exclusive right to use the 'House of Abhinandan Lodha' (HoABL) for his ventures.
The change marks the formal consolidation of the 'Lodha' identity under Macrotech Developers following a protracted trademark battle between the two brothers.
The dispute escalated in early 2025, when Macrotech filed a petition in the Bombay High Court accusing Abhinandan Lodha of forging and fabricating documents in an attempt to use the 'Lodha' brand name in violation of earlier family settlement agreements. The petition cited a 2017 family agreement and a subsequent December 2023 agreement that prohibited the younger Lodha from using the name or any deceptively similar version.
