The Phoenix Mills Limited (PML), a leading developer in retail and commercial real estate, has announced the appointment of Vithal Suryavanshi as CEO – Commercial Real Estate, effective July 7, 2025. Suryavanshi brings over 30 years of experience in commercial leasing and strategic real estate development, and holds an Executive MBA from NMIMS along with executive training from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Prior to joining PML, he held senior leadership roles at prominent firms including Mayfair Housing, K. Raheja Corp, and Brookfield Properties, where he spearheaded landmark commercial projects and drove business growth and investment initiatives. Most recently, he served as Partner – Commercial Real Estate Fund at Kotak Alternate Assets Managers Ltd.
A Phoenix Mills spokesperson highlighted his "deep industry expertise and a strong track record of driving revenue growth, market expansion, and building long term value," underscoring the company’s confidence in his ability to scale its commercial real estate platform.
Suryavanshi’s appointment comes at a pivotal time as PML aims to enhance its commercial portfolio and establish market defining properties under his leadership.
