Workday, Inc., the AI-powered platform for managing people, money, and agents, has appointed Sunil Jose as as President, India Operations, reinforcing its commitment to the region. A veteran technology leader, Sunil will oversee Workday’s India operations, driving growth strategy and go-to-market initiatives in a market considered central to the company’s global expansion.
With more than 30 years of experience in the IT sector, Sunil has held senior positions at top-tier technology firms including Salesforce, IBM, Oracle, and BrowserStack. His expertise spans enterprise technology, strategic partnerships, and high-performance team leadership. He brings a proven track record of leading successful market expansions and building strong customer and partner ecosystems.
Sunil’s appointment aligns with a broader series of strategic investments by Workday in India. These include the establishment of a local data center, expansion of the sales team, and deepening of local partner networks. Together, these initiatives underscore Workday’s focus on scaling operations, supporting global customers with a presence in India, and helping local enterprises modernize through AI-driven transformation.

Sunil will be based in Mumbai and will report directly to Simon Tate, President of Asia Pacific, Workday.
