Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) will soon launch a residential plot scheme. As many as 477 plots of sizes ranging from 60 sq mt to 2000 sq mts will be available in sectors 16, 17A, 18, 20 an 22 D.
People can apply online in the scheme from Sept 7 to Oct 7 while the allotment will be done on November 15 through a draw. Authority had also launched shop and kiosk schemes near Noida International Airport. In the new scheme some of the plots are those remaining from the previous schemes while others are new.
While applying to the scheme on the authority’s website, an applicant will have to deposit 10% of the total cost of the plot. There will be different payment options. Those who opt for one-time-payment will be given priority in the allotment of plots, those who pay 50% of the amount in lump sum and the remaining in installments will be considered next.
The last preference will be given to those who opt for paying 30% of the amount in lump sum and 70% in installments. The maximum of 262 plots are available in 120 sqm size, followed by 67 in 200sqm, 56 in 300sqm, 40 in 162sqm, 19 in 90sqm and 16 in 60 sqm. There are just four plots available in 2,000 sqm, eight in 1000 sqm and five in 500 sqm,
Earlier, a residential plot scheme was launched by the authority in December last year the upcoming Jewar airport got over 30 times the response. As against 416 plots on offers in sectors 16,18 and 20 of YEIDA located 6km from the upcoming airport, some 13,889 applications were received by the authority.
