Nikhil Gandhi, who has held senior leadership roles at TikTok, MX Player, The Walt Disney Company and Times Network, has launched VYYB AI Technologies Ltd, a UAE-based venture developing artificial intelligence solutions for commercial spaces.
Headquartered at the DIFC Dubai AI Campus, the company has launched VYYB SONIC, an AI-powered background music platform designed to help businesses adapt music to their venues and customer environments. The venture plans to expand into climate optimisation and contextual scenting.
VYYB SONIC is powered by Tringbox AI, the company's proprietary AI music engine. The platform uses contextual inputs, including venue type, time of day, day of the week, weather and temperature, to inform music selection and adjust characteristics such as tempo and energy.
The platform also offers centralised programming, scheduling and playback management through a single dashboard, enabling businesses to manage music across multiple locations. It features a repertoire of more than one million tracks and is accessible through web, Android and iOS applications. The company said the platform can work with existing audio systems without requiring additional hardware.
VYYB AI aims to address the management of sensory elements in commercial environments, where music, temperature and scent are often handled separately. Its product roadmap includes VYYB ATMOS for climate optimisation and VYYB AURA for contextual scenting. Both products remain under development.
The company's longer-term vision includes VYYB AMBIENCE, a proposed platform that could bring sound, climate and scent management together. It is also exploring potential applications of edge AI and computer vision in commercial spaces.
Gandhi brings more than 26 years of corporate leadership experience across media and technology businesses. He also completed the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Applied Agentic AI programme in 2026.
Commenting on the launch, Gandhi, Founder and CEO of VYYB AI Technologies Ltd, said the company aims to help commercial spaces respond more effectively to customers while maintaining consistency with their brands.
The company is targeting commercial opportunities across the Gulf Cooperation Council region and the wider Middle East, Europe and Southeast Asia, with an initial focus on retail, hospitality, fitness and wellness venues.
