Brigade Group, the prominent Indian real estate developer, has appointed Sajid Iqbal as its Chief Human Resource Officer and Senior Vice President – HR & Admin, effective July 3, 2025.
Iqbal brings more than 25 years of experience spanning India and the United States, having held senior HR leadership roles at GE, Godrej Pacific, and Larsen & Toubro. At GE, he oversaw HR functions across Transportation, Healthcare, Aviation, Oil & Gas, and India integrated manufacturing operations, impacting over 6,000 employees.
In his new role at Brigade, Iqbal will lead talent management, leadership development, organizational design, recruitment, and culture transformation across the company’s residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and education verticals.
He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, and has completed executive education at Wharton Business School and the Future CHRO Program at ISB, Hyderabad.
