Waaree Clean Energy Appoints Gaurav Agnihotri as Head of Business Development

Waaree Clean Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a key subsidiary of the Waaree Group, has announced the appointment of Gaurav Agnihotri as Head – Business Development. This strategic leadership move signals the company’s focused push into the burgeoning Green Hydrogen segment, a cornerstone of India’s energy transition efforts.

With more than two decades of experience spanning clean and conventional energy domains, Gaurav brings to the table a robust portfolio of business development, strategy, and marketing expertise. His career includes significant leadership positions at Thermax Limited, where he led Business Development and Marketing for Green Hydrogen; HYGENCO - The Hydrogen Company, where he served as General Manager – Business Development; and Alfa Laval as Business Unit Manager – Energy Division.

Earlier in his career, Gaurav held instrumental roles at Sulzer India, Bow Nishi Services Pvt. Ltd., and Essar Oil Limited, where he contributed to the expansion of the Vadinar refinery, one of India’s largest. This blend of upstream and downstream experience positions him well to navigate the evolving Green Hydrogen ecosystem.

At Waaree Clean Energy Solutions, Gaurav will oversee strategic business initiatives, sales, and market development focused on the Green Hydrogen sector.
