Nature’s Drama Carved in Wood by Stone Art

Stone Art, known for its evocative and nature-inspired creations is an expressive series of wooden artefacts that speak of nature, legacy, and quiet grandeur.

Perfect for semi-outdoor settings, sun-dappled verandas, shaded courtyards, or tranquil garden corners, the pieces echo a rustic elegance while staying aligned with current biophilic design trends. They lend a sense of wonder, movement, and mood, bringing a touch of the mythical into modern living. Whether placed beside lush foliage or set against textured stone, they ground a space with artistry that’s quietly powerful and deeply personal.

Each piece in this collection is carved from tropical wood like suar wood, imported from Thailand, and thoughtfully transformed without disrupting its natural character.

The collection features striking animal forms, a majestic eagle captured mid-flight atop a globe, a powerful lion head emerging with regal stillness, an elephant carved in full stride, and faces etched with deep, contemplative expressions. The surface textures are raw yet refined, with organic grains and earthy tones that lend a grounded, elemental feel. With their sculptural presence and commanding silhouettes, the artefacts appear rooted in nature, bold, emotive, and full of life.

The collection is entirely different from the next, crafted from natural wood that is left largely in its original form, barely chiselled or altered. It’s as if, while wandering through the woods, a particular log caught the eye, revealing the potential of a sculpture hidden within. That very moment of recognition becomes the starting point, allowing the wood to guide the process, resulting in an artefact that is effortlessly beautiful in its raw, untouched state.
