In a significant step toward giving back to the city, Ajmera Realty Infra India has developed a Miyawaki-themed forest in the open space of Kalina Campus. The real estate company has planted 5,000 native trees as part of its continuous CSR commitment; these trees will be cultivated into a healthy, self-sustaining forest ecosystem.
Commenting on the initiative, Manoj Ajmera, Managing Director, Ajmera Group, said: “We strongly believe in creating an ecosystem that strikes a balance between nature and urban development. This initiative is a step in that direction. The Miyawaki forest method is an ideal approach to strengthening the city’s biodiversity.
We truly are proud of how well we executed with Mumbai University on this project. It's not just about making a green space in the middle of the city; it's also about building a long-term partnership to raise awareness and teach people about the environment.
