Infravision Expands India Operations with New Office in Noida

Infravision announced the expansion of its India operations with the launch of its new office in Noida, Delhi NCR. Infravision aims to transform India's power networks with its innovative transmission solutions, supporting the country's energy and sustainability goals.

With the support of Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ), the Queensland Government's global business agency, Infravision successfully navigated India's market entry, leveraging Queensland's strong capabilities in technology-driven infrastructure solutions. Establishing the Noida office signals the deepening engagement between Australia and India in addressing the growing demand for resilient and efficient power infrastructure.

Serving as the company's central hub in India, the new office will have 38 employees, with plans to scale to 100 by the end of 2025. This strategic expansion reaffirms Infravision's dedication to revolutionising India's power transmission landscape with cutting-edge, sustainable technologies.

The move aligns with Infravision's long-term partnership with Sterlite Power, which is driving advancements in efficiency, safety, and sustainability in power grid modernisation. With this, India will become the epicentre of the largest power transmission expansions globally, targeting the development of 50,000 km of new transmission lines by 2030.

Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, Governor of Queensland, highlighted the significance of this expansion in fostering stronger bilateral relations and said, "Infravision's inroads into the Indian market is a testament to the growing synergies between Australia and India in the fields of technology, infrastructure, and trade. Queensland is home to some of the world's most innovative businesses, and this milestone exemplifies our commitment to fostering sustainable, high-impact collaborations that drive global infrastructure excellence."

Abhinav Bhatia, Trade and Investment Commissioner – South Asia, TIQ, emphasised the role of international partnerships in this transformation, "Queensland and India share a deep commitment to energy security and innovation. With rapid urbanisation and ambitious development goals, India presents a significant opportunity for Queensland's energy and technology companies. Infravision's success here underscores the potential for innovative businesses to play a transformative role in India's infrastructure growth."

Infravision spokesperson Cameron Van Der Berg, Co-founder & CEO, reiterated the company's mission to drive efficiency and sustainability in energy transmission, "Infravision is excited to be expanding its global business into India. Following our announcement in November last year of our exciting partnership with Sterlite Power we are honoured today to be opening our Indian Head Office in Noida. As a Queensland-borne startup that has now expanded into 4 countries, it's a great honour to have the Governor of Queensland, the Honourable Jeanette Young, here today to open the facility. India is at the forefront of the global transition to net zero and we are honoured to be playing our part in accelerating that journey. Our Infravision India team is expanding rapidly, and we look forward to an exciting future ahead in one of the world's fastest-growing energy ecosystems."
